Artist Statement
From the vibrant dance of Rio's suburbs (1972) to the serene landscapes of Sweden, my artistic spirit has taken root and flourished. Just like many of my fellow troubled souls I thought about giving up the passion, but I've managed to keep on holding onto that spark that fuels my exploration of both traditional and digital mediums. My work is a symphony of color and form, a visual reflection of the rich tapestry woven from my Brazilian heritage and Swedish experiences. Through abstract and expressive art, I translate the essence of these journeys onto the canvas

Highlights: Solo Exhibition: Görvälns Slott, Järfälla, Sweden, June 2017 Group Exhibitions: Spanning across Sweden from Järfälla to Göteborg, my work has been showcased in various prestigious venues, including the Twitter Art Exhibit in Oslo, 2015, and the vibrant Brazilian Day in Stockholm, 2016. The Creative Process: Since 1982, I have been dedicated to painting and drawing, regularly attending free art classes and croqui meetings in Stockholm to hone my skills. My art is an expression of my soul, often manifesting in abstract forms that invite viewers to delve into their interpretations. Looking Forward: With several upcoming shows in cities like Helsingborg, Lund, and Malmö, my journey continues to evolve. Each stroke, each color, is a step towards new horizons, exploring the limitless potential of creativity.
